Well, as Tim Conway once said on the Carol Burnett Show: "The
ol' clock on the wall just fell off ..."
That line always cracked me up! Yeah, I know: I'm easily amused!
Anyway, this has been a pretty shitty year in most ways. But, it has also been a year that gives all of us hope!
With the election of Barack Obama, and his fabulous cabinet, team, and
advisers in place, the United States of America will once again be a place about which we Americans can be proud!
All of us -- every woman, man, and child -- must put our efforts behind our government and pitch in to help us right the tremendous wrong that the Bush administration has fucked up these last eight years.
All of us -- have a duty to make sure that the promised governmental transparency really happens. And if we find a portion of government isn't transparent, we all must band together and bitch until the cows come home (I'm so terrible with metaphors; just choose one that inspires you)!
All of us -- every
swingin' (you know what I was going to say: DICK!!!) one of us must do our part! It's our government, damn it!
OK, enough ranting. Happy New Year to everyone! Please: Let's all strive for peace!
